Open cracks are the primary entry point for water to penetrate deep into the pavement sub-base, leading to massive underground erosion and winter frost heave. Our asphalt repair technicians address these fractures using a process called crack routing. We chase the cracks with specialized mechanical routing saws to clear out dirt, vegetation, and fractured aggregate. We then inject a premium hot-applied, polymer-modified rubberized sealant that bonds firmly to the asphalt sidewalls, blocking moisture while expanding and contracting with seasonal temperature shifts.
